Charlotte Fogh Gallery is delighted to present the solo exhibition “Dad” by HuskMitNavn. In the exhibition HuskMitNavn portrays modern parenthood for better or worse – from the father’s point of view.
With his usual sense of humor, tragicomedy – and not least: with great empathy –HuskMitNavn pinpoints modern familys small and big moments. That is, life as it is lived in a double pace: With huge amounts of laundry, always hungry children, chronic sleep deprivation – and small, stolen oases of time: in the bathroom with your smartphone orbedtime story fiction. Fatigue and lurking midlifecrisis living side by side with happiness, parental love and the desire to be present and to be able to step into your child’s play and imagination. The exhibition Dad is a tribute to modern familys and especially to the father.
